Job summary

Bowhead is seeking a Junior Engineer (SAMD) to support C5ISR systems for international partners under the Foreign Military Sales program at APG, MD. You will collaborate with government agencies and defense industry leaders to deliver technology solutions and support military readiness.

Responsibilities include engineering analysis of country requirements, evaluating contract deliverables, and developing ARP documentation. Travel up to 10% and on-site work at APG are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (required).
• 2–5+ years of engineering experience.
• Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn.
• Proactive attitude with ability to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering and analysis of FMS country requirements.
• Analyze contract technical deliverables for adequacy and completeness for FMS programs.
• Develop Acquisition Requirements Packages (ARP) for IDIQ contracts.
• Prepare program briefs using PowerPoint and Excel.
• Assist Government in preparing J&A, sole source awards, and related documents.
• Conduct witnessing test and acceptance events.
