You will prepare and manage cost estimates for wind, solar, energy storage, and transmission projects, working with engineering, procurement, and construction to ensure accuracy and alignment with program goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project estimating, including conceptual engineering and design.
• Experience with utility-scale energy projects (renewables, transmission).
• Familiarity with cost estimation software and tools such as PlanSwift, WinEst, CostX.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed project cost estimates (conceptual, preliminary, definitive).
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction to gather specs and drawings.
• Perform value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality.
• Develop estimation tools, databases, and methodologies to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Track costs and update estimates for changes in scope or conditions.
• Present estimates and options to senior management and clients.
