Harris Energy Solutions, LLC is seeking an Energy Engineer to support energy modeling, audits, retro-commissioning, and building commissioning across nationwide projects. You will review drawings, analyze utility data, and prepare technical reports for clients.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering and up to 2 years of related experience, with travel across the United States. Hybrid work arrangement and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, or Facilities required.
• 0–2 years of experience in energy engineering preferred.
• Experience with building energy modeling techniques.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of energy efficiency technologies, HVAC, and renewables.
• Travel across the United States as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform Energy Modelling: gather data, input into modeling software, and execute building models.
• Perform ASHRAE Level I/II/III Energy Audits: analyze utility bills, inspect buildings, identify measures, and prepare reports.
• Perform Retro-Commissioning Studies: onsite testing, identify measures, analyze savings, and deliver technical reports.
• Perform Building Commissioning: develop plans, review drawings, conduct site visits, and prepare final commissioning reports.
