Job summary

CLEAResult is hiring an Energy Engineer in Michigan to support energy efficiency programs through engineering calculations, measurement and verification, and technical design. You will lead design strategies, analyze energy savings, and develop plans with reporting that drive client program success.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Engineering with FE/EIT preferred and 0–3+ years of experience. The role emphasizes safety, quality control, and collaboration with a resourceful, resilient team.

Qualifications

• Calculate energy savings for projects using standard engineering principles (physics, thermodynamics, mathematics).
• Participate in energy audits to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements.
• Prepare technical reports detailing findings and recommendations.
• Support development of measures characteristics for program planning with technical oversight.
• Understand building energy end uses and energy impacts of industrial processes.
• Support analysis of energy efficiency projects using various tools and software.
• Prioritize safety in all actions and tasks.
