Job summary

Cadmus Group, a global analytics and advisory firm, seeks a quantitative analyst to support DSM and decarbonization projects. You will perform data collection, econometric analyses, and prepare client-ready reports and visuals for a range of clients including utilities and governments.

The role emphasizes independent work, collaboration with project teams, and strong communication to translate research into actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in economics, statistics, data science, or related field and 0–2 years of experience.
• Familiarity with econometrics and inferential statistics.
• Experience with data transformation, visualization, and statistical programming (R, Python, SQL, Stata).
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Strong organization, time management, and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Perform research, primary and secondary data collection, statistical and econometric data analysis, and reporting tasks to support consulting engagements with clients, including those related to transportation and building electrification, DSM and renewable energy potential studies or planning, and DSM program and policy evaluations.

Analyze collected data and synthesize research findings to resolve research questions, identify trends, and derive insights relevant to client objectives.

Collaboratively translate research findings and analysis results into meaningful conclusions supported by demonstrable data and develop actionable recommendations for energy utility clients.

Write report sections that clearly explain research findings and analysis results, methodologies, and data sources.

Assist with developing client PowerPoint presentations, memos, and reports. This could include creating excel-based figures to visualize research findings and clearly convey takeaway messages.

Conduct detailed reviews of your own project deliverables to ensure high-quality, accurate, and error-free work.

Collaborate with project teams and staff manager to plan time effectively and execute assignments consistent with expectations.

Work closely and actively communicate with project team members to accomplish project goals. Provide clear and consistent communications on projects and tasks and raise any concerns or issues before they become problems, provide and receive constructive feedback, and manage expectations.

Adhere to Cadmus standards for work quality, risk mitigation, administrative requirements and team orientation.

Communicate clearly and professionally (oral and written) with colleagues and clients, in varying time zones.

Work independently and collaboratively across Cadmus to deliver high-value solutions to clients.

Qualifications:

BA/BS in economics, statistics, data science, or other quantitative social scientific field and 0-2 years of professional experience.

Familiarity with fundamentals of econometrics and inferential statistics.

Experience with data transformation, visualization, and statistical programming using software such as R, Python, SQL, or Stata.

Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

Strong organizational and time-management skills with high attention to detail.

Initiative and ability to prioritize and work independently on assignments, and adapt to changes in a fast-paced, time-sensitive, deliverable driven workplace.

Desire to grow professionally and take on challenging work assignments.

Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.

Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word and Excel.

The salary range for this position is$65,000 - $75,000. The actual salary will be determined by several factors, including relevant work experience, education, skills, and market competitiveness.
