Job summary

The Cadmus Group LLC is seeking a data-driven professional in Boulder, CO to quantify impacts of intervention strategies and provide strategic guidance to utility and government clients. You will work on DSM challenges spanning distributed energy resources, electrification, decarbonization, and energy efficiency, delivering concise reports and actionable recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in research design, data collection, data analysis, modeling, tool development and refinement, and reporting tasks for client consulting engagements, including those related to demand response, renewable energy, electrification (transportation and buildings), or energy efficiency program evaluations or policy as well as supporting potential studies, planning, and program design.
• Suggest and apply appropriate analytic methods and solutions to address client questions.
• Conduct independent analysis using standard and advanced statistical techniques.
• Assist in primary and secondary data collection and statistical and/or econometric data analysis to assess program and policy impacts.
• Analyze and interpret findings to reach meaningful conclusions and recommendations for inclusion in clearly written, concise reports.
• Develop detailed reports and presentations that clearly and concisely summarize and communicate analysis results, research findings, methodologies, and data sources.
• Provide task management and oversight in close collaboration with project teams to ensure client satisfaction through timely delivery of consulting solutions.
• Work closely with project team members and clients to accomplish project goals.
• Providing clear and consistent communications to project team members, Cadmus leadership, and support teams (in varying time zones) on projects and tasks, raising concerns or issues before they become problems, providing and receiving constructive feedback, and managing expectations.
• Work independently and collaboratively across Cadmus to deliver high-value, accurate results.

The successful candidate will leverage advanced analytics and data-driven insights to quantify the impacts of intervention strategies, evaluate system and market dynamics, and provide strategic guidance to utility and government clients. This role addresses complex demand-side management (DSM) challenges spanning distributed energy resources, electrification, virtual power plants, data centers, decarbonization, demand response, energy efficiency, flexible load resources, and sustainability.

Qualifications

• MA/MS in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or other related quantitative fields with 0 to 2 years relevant professional experience, OR BA/BS in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or other related quantitative fields AND 2 to 4 years of relevant professional experience.

• Experience with statistical software programming in R, Python, or Stata.

• Experience with databases and SQL.

• Demonstrated experience with inferential statistics, specifically sampling and research design, statistical analysis, and regression analysis.

• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.

• Initiative and ability to prioritize and take ownership of assignments as a task manager or be accountable for projects overall as project manager, including adapting to changes in a fast paced, time-sensitive, deliverable driven workplace.

• Desire to grow professionally and take on challenging work assignments.

• Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word and Excel.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S Perm Resident or U.S. Citizen.

The salary range for this position is$70,000 - $85,000. The actual salary will be determined by several factors, including relevant work experience, education, skills, and market competitiveness.
