Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Charlotte, NC seeks an entry-level Attorney to join a team handling employment matters for large institutional clients and to develop strong legal skills in a collaborative environment.

You will work with experienced attorneys, draft and revise memos, research questions, manage deadlines, and progressively take on more complex assignments while learning client operations and priorities.

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of attorney experience; employment law experience welcomed but not required.
• Passed the North Carolina bar or eligible to transfer via UBE.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Curiosity, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic.
• Openness to feedback and willingness to learn.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Professionalism, discretion, and respect for clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with experienced attorneys on employment matters, taking responsibility for assignments as skills develop.
• Research legal questions, analyze relevant law, and provide clear written analysis and recommendations.
• Review documents and factual records, identifying key issues and information gaps.
• Draft and revise legal correspondence and memoranda, incorporating feedback.
• Communicate with clients and stakeholders to gather information and provide updates.
• Help manage an active caseload by tracking deadlines and coordinating with legal staff.
• Develop an understanding of client operations and priorities.
• Gradually take on more complex assignments and explore additional practice areas.

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
