Job summary

US Fertility in Orlando, Florida, is seeking a Junior Embryologist to join our team. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with weekend and holiday rotations, supporting embryo culture, vitrification, and patient care in a nationally recognized setting.

You will collaborate with physicians and embryology staff across the network, grow in a high-standard lab, and contribute to FDA-compliant processes and clinical research.

Qualifications

• Must have appropriate college degree and graduated with a “B” average or greater in a relevant laboratory science; 3.0 or above overall GPA strongly preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of Embryology Experience
• Must demonstrate the ability to function effectively without direct supervision, and to perform laboratory services in accord with the Laboratory Philosophy and Operating Standards
• Proven ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer
• Knowledge of office procedures and office machines (i.e. computer, fax, copier, etc.)
• Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Ability to work in a high standard, stressful environment
• Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and culture oocytes; prepare sperm and inseminate oocytes
• Assess and select embryos for transfer; perform embryo vitrification, storage, and warming
• Perform oocyte vitrification, storage, and warming
• Prepare all media used with human gametes
• Conduct diagnostic semen analysis
• Prepare and care for gametes/embryos throughout the laboratory process, including IVF, ICSI, VIT, ET, thaw, and PGD
• Cryopreserve and thaw embryos at varying stages of development
• Assess fertilization and zygote quality following insemination
• Record and report results in Artworks
• Track donor sperm and embryos in compliance with FDA regulations
