Job summary

O’Connell Electric Co. is seeking a Junior Project Manager to coordinate electrical testing and preventative maintenance projects from planning through closeout.

You will manage objectives, communicate with clients and internal teams, and ensure quality, schedule, cost control, and safety standards are met. The role requires basic project management knowledge, teamwork, and the ability to prepare and review documents, submittals, RFIs, and meetings with clients.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience supporting management functions for construction projects.
• Associates degree in a Business Discipline, Construction Management or similar field preferred or electrical trade education/experience in lieu of degree.
• Electrical construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning, execution and delivery of projects with client and stakeholders.
• Establish objectives, procedures and performance standards.
• Forecast costs and manage resources with support from senior project managers.
• Oversee subcontractors and procurement.
• Prepare for project meetings and ensure deliverables are met.
