Elite Executive Solutions is conducting a confidential search for a Junior Electrical Estimator to join our team in Escondido, CA. This early-career role supports the preparation of detailed electrical construction estimates and competitive bids under the guidance of senior estimators.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of electrical construction or estimating experience, is proficient with reading drawings, and can perform quantity takeoffs.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of electrical construction or estimating experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of commercial electrical systems and construction practices.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing detailed estimates and competitive bids for electrical construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and other bid documents.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and help determine material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Solicit and evaluate pricing from vendors and subcontractors.
• Assist with bid preparation, scope reviews, and proposal development.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and project walkthroughs as needed.
• Identify potential scope gaps, risks, and cost considerations during the estimating process.
• Maintain organized estimating documentation and historical cost information.
• Collaborate with senior estimators, project managers, and operations teams.
• Support project handoff from estimating to operations after award.
• Stay current on material pricing, labor considerations, and electrical construction market conditions.
