Qualifications

• US citizen with active Top-Secret clearance or ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field; no postgraduate experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics.
• Solid understanding of electronic components and circuits.
• Hands-on benchtop equipment experience (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
• Foundational understanding of RF communications.
• Familiarity with SPI, I2C, UART protocols.
• Capable of basic RF measurements (e.g., occupied bandwidth, average power).
• Ability to write complex technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Characterize and document electronic systems: research circuit components, create detailed schematics and perform lab tests.
• Analyze communication bus protocols: SPI, I2C, UART data flow.
• Characterize RF signals: measure RF parameters such as modulation schemes, frequencies, bandwidth, power.
• Decode modulation: analyze and decode different RF modulation types.
• Contribute to technical reports: integrate characterization data into reports and briefings for customers.
• Research emerging technologies and stay current with new techniques.
• Collaborate with experts to tackle challenging problems and find solutions.
