Job summary

IMEG Corporation in Anaheim, CA invites applications for an Electrical Engineering New Graduate role. You’ll support design, analysis, and oversight of electrical systems in buildings, with mentorship and hands-on project delivery from day one.

You’ll work with experienced engineers across healthcare and MEP projects, aligning with energy-efficient design practices and industry standards. The role offers growth opportunities, ESOP ownership, and a collaborative in-office work environment.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• EIT or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and analysis of electrical systems for buildings using engineering software and tools to create detailed designs, specifications, and calculations according to code requirements and IMEG standards.
• Support the execution of consulting projects as part of a project team.
• Assist with project planning and scheduling tasks to meet project deadlines and objectives.
• Document design decisions and client instructions while monitoring project design progress.
• Interact with clients to understand needs, gather project requirements, communicate technical information effectively, and build professional relationships.
• Analyze low to medium complexity engineering tasks and propose innovative solutions with guidance from senior engineers and consultants.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet project goals.
• Participate in IMEG quality control processes to ensure engineering designs and solutions meet IMEG quality standards, industry standards, and client requirements.
• Contribute to research, development, and innovation efforts by staying current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering.
