Kaukauna Utilities seeks an entry-level Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering team. You will work with experienced engineers to design, improve, and maintain the electric distribution system powering our community.

From day one, you''ll gain hands-on experience in engineering design, field investigations, construction coordination, and project management while developing skills to advance your career. Mentorship and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering degree required.
• 0–3 years of engineering experience; internships and co-ops encouraged.
• Interest in electric power systems, utility engineering, or electrical infrastructure.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design, and construction of electric distribution projects.
• Prepare engineering drawings and construction documents using CAD and GIS.
• Conduct field investigations, site visits, and construction inspections.
• Coordinate projects with contractors, municipalities, customers, and internal teams.
• Support engineering analysis, project estimates, budgeting, and documentation.
• Learn utility engineering standards and distribution design practices.
• Contribute to projects that improve reliability and safety of the electric system.
