Job summary

Mead & Hunt, Inc. in West Allis, WI is seeking an Entry-Level Electrical Engineer to join our team.

You will support the design and development of industrial electrical systems, assist with engineering analyses and design calculations, and collaborate with experienced engineers on a variety of technically challenging projects while building a strong foundation in electrical engineering consulting. The successful candidate will participate in structured mentorship, exposure to multiple project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Internship experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CAD/BIM software and lighting/power distribution design software.
• Familiarity with applicable regulatory codes.

Responsibilities

• Preparing electrical engineering documents.
• Assisting with analysis, reports, plans, schedules, studies, and designs for projects.
• Performing electrical design calculations.
• Assisting with design and construction budgets.
• Designing industrial electrical systems including power distribution and lighting.
• Designing industrial control systems and networking layouts.
• Attending client meetings or serving as on-site project representative.
• Some travel will be required.
