Job summary

KBR is hiring a Jr Electrical & Computer Engineer to collaborate with cross-functional teams on design, development, and integration of electrical and computer systems. You will validate mission requirements, analyze performance, and advise customers on technical decisions.

Ideal candidates have TS/SCI clearance eligibility, a BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering, and hands-on exposure to MATLAB, Python, and Cameo. This role emphasizes teamwork and problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience (internships/co-ops applicable).
• Familiarity with MATLAB and Python.
• Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering tools such as Cameo.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Teamwork in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Support design and development of electrical/computer engineering systems including hardware and embedded systems.
• Develop and review technical documentation like schematics and interface control documents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems and software engineers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues.
• Contribute to process improvements across engineering activities.
• Coordinate engineering functions for design, install, test, and integration of subsystems.
