Job summary

IW Group is seeking a resourceful Junior Editor to join our post‑production team. This role focuses on editing smaller projects—social videos, sizzle reels, and recaps—through final delivery, with guidance from our Post Producer/Editor.

You will develop timing, rhythm, and storytelling while collaborating with producers and creatives. You will also support post‑production tasks, organize assets, and explore AI‑assisted workflows to improve efficiency across Adobe Creative Cloud and DaVinci

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of editing/post-production experience in an agency, production company, freelance, or internship setting.
• Portfolio or reel demonstrating editing fundamentals, pacing, storytelling, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Final Cut Pro is a big plus; familiarity with Davinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Frame.io is beneficial.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Codex) and interest in applying them to workflows.

Responsibilities

• Edit smaller projects from assembly to final delivery under guidance from the Post Producer/Editor.
• Develop rough cuts, refine pacing, story structure, music, sound, and visual rhythm per feedback.
• Adapt content for platforms, aspect ratios, runtimes, and audiences while maintaining brand consistency.
• Incorporate graphics, captions, translated copy, and assets into edits; collaborate with producers and creatives.
