Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Radar Signal Processing Engineer for a dual-use radar company in the Atlanta area. You will develop and implement advanced DSP algorithms for radar systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams on mission-critical projects.

The role is full-time and hybrid, with a salary range of $90,000–$140,000 per year and opportunities to impact both civilian and military radar initiatives.

Qualifications

• BS in mathematics, physics, or other related technical field (at least 1+ years experience).
• MS in mathematics, physics, or other related technical field (0-1+ years of experience).
• Experience in digital signal processing, radar signal processing, probability and statistics, and algorithm development.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, working knowledge of Pyhton.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Technical challenges cover antennas, transmit/receive chain, radar system modeling, ground moving target identification, electronic warfare, maritime surveillance, image processing, algorithm development for advanced Radar image products and exploitation.
• Design, development, and analysis of radar system architectures.
• Design, implementation and testing of algorithms for detection, discrimination and tracking systems.
• Modeling and simulation of system designs to demonstrate performance metrics.
• Develop unique solutions and efficient implementations of signal processing algorithms for challenging mission applications.
• Use MATLAB, Python or C++ to analyze data and generate algorithms.
• Analyze system level signal propagation, RF system performance, requirements development and review.
• Collaborate with hardware, mechanical, software, program management, and leadership teams.
