It requires around 3+ years in DoD financial management, an associate degree, and DoD FM Certification Level 1 preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of DoD accounting, budgeting, or financial management experience.
• Experience reviewing financial data, budgets, obligations, expenditures, or related financial documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Examine, analyze, and interpret accounting and financial records.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing financial statements, reports, and supporting documentation.
• Review budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with procedures.
• Analyze budgeting and accounting reports.
• Assist in developing budget and cost estimates in support of program plans and requirements.
• Review budget requests, obligations, expenditures, and financial reports.
• Examine financial documents for accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
• Support systems and processes used to record costs, expenditures, and other financial data.
• Provide financial information and analysis to support program and project decision-making.
