The technician will work under the General Manager, performing routine checks, oil changes, filter replacements, coolant servicing, and injector maintenance to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience with diesel engines and tanker trailer repair.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel-powered vehicles and equipment.
• Conduct routine checks to ensure reliability, safety and performance.
• Minimize downtime and costly repairs in collaboration with team members.
• Inspect and replace filters, fluids and belts as needed.
• Top off coolant and flush systems to maintain proper temperature.
• Drain water from fuel water separators and ensure injector cleanliness.
• Use additives to protect fuel system components.
• Monitor transmission and differential fluids according to schedule.
