Job summary

Calfus Inc. is seeking an early-career Software Engineer focused on DevOps and platform work in Pleasanton, CA. You’ll automate build/deploy processes, containerize services, and keep pipelines healthy for multiple client engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/IT or related field.
• 1–3 years in DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, or Software Eng.
• Strong Linux knowledge and shell scripting.
• Hands-on Docker experience and multi-container environments.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain Python and shell automation for builds, deployments, environment setup, log processing, and routine operational tasks.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs.
• Containerize applications and services with Docker and maintain local development images.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux systems and diagnose performance issues.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate builds, tests, and deployments.
