Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer in Chantilly, VA to support deployment and maintenance of development and production environments. You will assist with CI/CD pipeline implementation, monitor system health, and help with container orchestration and automation alongside a team of developers.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance or eligibility, a Bachelor's degree, and experience with Linux, Docker, and CI/CD tools. Onsite work in Chantilly, VA is expected as part of an IT-focused team.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• Experience with Linux system administration and Docker or containerized apps.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD.
• Exposure to infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK).
• Experience troubleshooting deployment/environment issues.
• Ability to work in an Agile Scrum team.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment and maintenance of development and production environments.
• Assist with CI/CD pipeline implementation and troubleshooting.
• Monitor system health, logging, and alerting platforms.
• Support container orchestration and infrastructure automation efforts.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment-related issues.
• Onboard users and environment access requests.
