Job summary

Kudu Dynamics, a Leidos-owned company, seeks a Junior DevOps Engineer in Maryland to support dev/prod environments, assist with CI/CD pipelines, and monitor systems. You will work with developers to improve deployment reliability in a fast-paced, mission-driven setting.

Requirements include TS/SCI clearance, 1–3 years in DevOps or related fields, Linux administration, Docker, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform/Ansible, and familiarity with Grafana/Prometheus/ELK in an Agile team context.

Qualifications

• US citizenship with TS/SCI clearance required.
• 1–3 years of experience in DevOps, systems engineering, or infrastructure support.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with Linux system administration.
• Experience with Docker or containerized applications.
• Basic experience with GitLab CI/CD.
• Exposure to Terraform or Ansible.
• Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK).
• Experience troubleshooting deployment or environment issues.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and system troubleshooting.
• Ability to work within an Agile Scrum team.
• Self-starter requiring moderate supervision.
• Intelligent, proactive, and driven to achieve results.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment and maintenance of development and production environments.
• Assist with CI/CD pipeline implementation and troubleshooting.
• Monitor system health, logging, and alerting platforms.
• Support container orchestration and infrastructure automation efforts.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment-related issues.
• Assist with onboarding users and environment access requests.
• Document operational procedures and deployment processes.
• Work closely with software developers to improve deployment reliability.
