E-INFOSOL LLC in Washington, DC is seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer to support DevSecOps tooling, cloud deployments, and Linux server administration for a FBI mission environment. You will help deploy automation, monitor systems, and integrate security controls under senior guidance.

The role emphasizes scripting, basic automation, and ongoing security testing across the development lifecycle. Bachelor's degree required and 1–3 years of related experience is expected.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• Working within a DevOps/DevSecOps pipeline.
• Hands-on exposure to security scanning/testing practices.
• Basic scripting or programming to automate tasks.
• Administering Linux-based servers.
• Experience with at least one IaaS cloud provider (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Installing/open-source monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Support design, deployment, testing, certification, operation, and patching of DevSecOps tools.
• Assist day-to-day O&M across multiple tools in the DevSecOps toolchain.
• Deploy and configure services through an IaaS provider (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Configure and manage Linux servers supporting a dynamic website/application.
• Assist in debugging issues in cluster/container environments (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm).
• Write scripts or programs (Bash, Python, PowerShell) to automate tasks.
• Install, configure, and maintain monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, Elastic Stack).
• Help integrate security practices into the DevOps pipeline under guidance.
• Support automation of security testing and compliance checks.
• Monitor application and infrastructure security, escalate findings.
