Job summary

Spry is seeking a DevOps Engineer Jr to join our team in Quantico, VA. This role focuses on deploying, maintaining, and supporting software applications and systems in a government-aligned environment.

You will integrate third-party applications, manage Linux servers, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools. A strong foundation in scripting, cloud services, and compliance with government standards is required.

Qualifications

• Top Secret clearance required.
• At least 1 year of experience or equivalent through certifications or past work.
• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Scrum and Kanban.

Responsibilities

• Deploys and configures services using cloud/infrastructure providers (AWS/Azure/GCE).
• Configures and manages Linux-based servers for dynamic websites.
• Supports CI/CD pipelines and automated testing/monitoring.
• Installs and manages open-source monitoring tools.
• Works with configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt).
• Maintains APIs and integration points; coordinates with vendors as needed.
• Develops and documents software solutions in line with SDLC standards.
• Gathers requirements with stakeholders and provides training/support.
