Piper Companies is hiring a Jr. DevOps Engineer for a Cloud and Technology company in Morrisville, NC. You will support cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment initiatives while partnering with engineering teams to maintain and improve enterprise cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of professional experience in software engineering, cloud technologies, or DevOps.
• Proficiency in Python development and automation scripting.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) with practical experience.
• Familiarity with Linux, CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and IaC concepts.
• Experience with Terraform/Ansible or similar IaC tools preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in a related technical field with relevant internship/projects.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain cloud infrastructure and platform services across AWS, Azure, and other cloud environments.
• Develop, implement, and maintain automation solutions and IaC for deployment processes.
• Assist in managing containerized applications and VM environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and software delivery using GitHub, Jenkins, and related tools.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Linux-based and cloud systems for reliability and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments to support development and deployment.
