Job summary

Kudu Dynamics, a Leidos-owned company, is seeking highly skilled engineers to support the development lifecycle, design secure deployments, and automate infrastructure. Candidates should have a strong Linux background, 10+ years experience, and a Top Secret/SCI w/ Polygraph clearance.

The role involves building pipelines, optimizing deployments, and collaborating across teams. Expect exposure to AWS, Agile practices, and modern tooling like Git, Docker, Kubernetes, and scripting languages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Engineering (e.g., Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace) or Computer Science with 10 years of related experience.
• Fluent with Git and version control best practices, including branching and merging.
• Strong knowledge of Linux environments (RHEL 6/7/8, RHCSA/RHCE, CentOS) and Windows admin.
• Experience integrating Jenkins/Bamboo, Docker, and Kubernetes for automated deployment (preferred).
• Expertise with caching tech (Memcache, Redis, APC), MySQL, Elasticsearch; Kibana a plus.
• Security practices, networking, firewalls, and PCI compliance familiarity.
• 5+ years in Agile environments and 5+ years managing AWS cloud or PaaS servers.
• Proficiency in Ruby, C/C++, Go, Python, or Java and OO concepts.
• Clearance: Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Support the development lifecycle, including platform design, deployment, and debugging.
• Build and maintain a release pipeline for fast, secure production delivery.
• Automate deployments across environments using scripting and toolkits.
• Configure sites/applications via Puppet/Ansible, and maintain Confluence/Jira.
• Assist in designing/maintaining web service infrastructure and deployments.
• Identify and implement process improvements through automation and streamlining.
