Avanade is hiring a Junior DevOps Engineer to support modern DevOps implementations across cloud and platform ecosystems. The role emphasizes hands-on delivery, automation, and standardization, including large-scale migrations like GitHub Enterprise adoption.

You will work with senior engineers and client teams to create scalable, secure, production-ready DevOps solutions. You’ll contribute to reusable templates and patterns, and apply AI-assisted tooling to improve speed, reliability, and cost

Qualifications

• 1+ year of hands-on experience in software development, IT, or DevOps-related work (including internships, co-ops, or equivalent practical experience)
• Foundational knowledge of Git-based version control (GitHub preferred), CI/CD concepts & tooling, and scripting
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and basic infrastructure as code concepts (Terraform or similar)

Responsabilités

• Support implementation of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms
• Contribute to migration efforts and CI/CD modernization
• Assist in building and maintaining infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep, or equivalent)
• Troubleshoot build, release, and environment issues across development lifecycles
• Apply secure engineering practices including code scanning, testing, and policy enforcement
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to enable end-to-end delivery
