Job description

We are looking for a Junior Developer to help us support our continued growth. This role involves creating add-ons and extensions to software, enabling end-users to use Salesforce products more efficiently. The work will entail programming and testing components using the Apex language and Salesforce APIs.

In this role, we are looking for someone with technical knowledge of the Salesforce platform, and sufficient hands‑on experience with basic system administration, security setup, and platform technical configuration.

Role Responsibilities
  • Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements
  • Application development, including basic Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, and Lightning Web Components, Assist with each release cycle to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code
  • Working with integrated applications such as DocuSign, Conga, Survey Gizmo, Mailchimp, etc.
  • Testing (unit and component), and debugging
  • Follow coding standards and best practices
  • Contribute to technical documentation
Experience/Skills Required
  • Ability to collaborate with team members enthusiastically in an authentic, transparent environment
  • Self‑starter, eager to learn and develop new technical skills on the Salesforce platform
  • Salesforce platform knowledge and at least 3‑6 months of Salesforce Administration experience
  • Desirable - Competency in HTML, XML, Flex, ASP, SQL, Java or C++, REST and SOAP‑based web services
  • Familiarity with the systems development life cycle and software quality assurance
  • Must have full‑time permanent US work authorization
Additional Preferred Experience/Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Seeks opportunities to develop professional skills
  • Achieves one technical certification each quarter as specified by immediate supervisor/manager
  • Travels with client or project team as needed building skills
