Job summary

Precise Systems is seeking a Junior Class Desk Analyst to support the Patuxent River, MD Program Office. The role involves applying analytic techniques to evaluate objectives, manage technical requirements, and support airworthiness documentation for E-2 related projects.

The candidate should hold an engineering degree (or substituted by 2 years of relevant experience) and possess less than three years of related experience. A Secret clearance and US citizenship are required for in-person work.

Qualifications

• Engineering Degree from a Four (4) year college or university.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, technically sound engineering support to the Class Desk and APMSE.
• Assist Class Desk in development and management of technical requirements for various systems.
• Assist Class Desk in ensuring appropriate technical area representation is in place to support various E-2 related projects.
• Assist Class Desk in management of assigned tasks in the program master schedule.
• Assist the Class Desk in coordinating engineering development, requirement adherence, and issue resolution within the Engineering team.
• Assist Class Desk with development of program acquisition and technical documents and briefing material.
• Participate in Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs) and design reviews.
• Assist Class Desk in the preparation of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and other acquisition documents such as Statements of Work (SOW), Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL), etc.
• Support Class Desk with identification, analysis, and mitigation of program and systems safety risks in alignment with PMA-231 program risk management and NAVAIR system safety processes.
• Support Class Desk in development and coordination of airworthiness requirements, documentation, as well as the identification of necessary data products for interim flight clearances.
