Job summary

HNTB seeks an intern to support engineering teams by performing basic engineering tasks as part of ongoing infrastructure projects. You will assist with research, development and design, and help prepare drawings and documents under supervision.

This role targets current/former HNTB interns and emphasizes learning the fundamentals of engineering, submittal procedures, and basic calculations while collaborating with experienced staff.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of engineering concepts and math.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to take direction from peers and supervisors.
• Familiarity with shop drawing/submittal procedures and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineering teams with assigned tasks and duties.
• Support research, development and design efforts for projects.
• Assist in preparing engineering drawings and documents as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
