Job summary

Entrust Solutions Group, a Leidos company, is seeking a Design Engineer I (Hybrid) to scope, design, and develop electrical service systems for new customers. You will interact with clients, perform scoping and cost estimation, and deliver design packages that meet customer needs.

The role includes on-site collaboration with customers and crews, with up to 20% local fielding responsibilities to support project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
• 0–1 years of relevant work experience in consulting or a related field.
• Knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) or GIS design is a plus.
• Strong work ethic with a desire to work in a production environment.
• Ability to work in a hybrid capacity, including up to 20% local fielding responsibilities to support project and client needs.

Responsibilities

• Scope, design and develop electrical service systems for new customers.
• Interact with customers, perform scoping and cost estimation.
• Provide a design package that meets customer needs.
• Meet with customers and construction crews on site to review the scope and discuss project execution.
