Four Hands, headquartered in Austin, Texas, seeks an Assistant Demand Planner to support forecasting, inventory management, and lifecycle execution across assigned categories. You will work under senior planners to develop item- and category-level forecasts and monitor KPI performance.

Ideal candidates have 0-2 years in retail planning, a business-related degree, and strong Excel analytics. This role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration and proactive ownership in a fast-growing furniture

Qualificações

• 0-2 years of retail planning, buying or equivalent analytical experience (furniture industry experience).
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Merchandising required.
• Intermediate knowledge of Excel and aptitude to learn new systems quickly.
• Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to take initiative and ownership of assigned work projects.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to influence cross-functionally.

Responsabilidades

• Support development and maintenance of item- and category-level forecasts using historical performance, seasonality, and trend analysis.
• Support a category portfolio with guidance and oversight from senior planners.
• Monitor KPI success across forecast accuracy, inventory turns, aged inventory, excess inventory, and product availability.
• Assist with Open-to-Buy (OTB) plans for assigned categories and identify inventory risks.
• Support execution of promotional and markdown strategies.
• Support product lifecycle planning, including end-of-life strategies and NPI forecasting; execute markdowns as needed.
• Assist with purchase order requests, acknowledgements, and pipeline tracking; communicate ETA changes to Sales and partners.
• Participate in cross-functional planning discussions representing planning priorities and insights.
• Maintain reporting accuracy and data integrity; elevate risks or system issues to senior planners.
