Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corp. is seeking an entry-level Application Engineer to join our DDR memory solutions team.

You will validate and optimize DDR power delivery, analyze power performance, and develop bench automation tools for data collection and power analysis across chip, board, and system levels. You will collaborate with design, product, test, and packaging teams, preparing datasheets, specifications, and test plans to support development and customer engagement.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related field).
• Experience: basic knowledge of analog and digital electronic circuits, and utilizing basic lab instruments to conduct measurements for data collection and debug.
• Skills & Expertise: Experience or knowledge of bench validation of analog, digital, and power management devices.
• Strong understanding of analog and mixed signal circuits (amplifiers, temperature sensors, ADC, DAC, voltage regulators, and related power components).
• Automation experience using LabVIEW, Python or similar programming languages is a plus.
• Experience with developing customer reports, Application notes, datasheets and other technical collateral is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Validate new DDR power module products and ensure compliance with standards.
• Analyze DDR modules to improve system power efficiency.
• Develop bench automation software for data collection and DDR power analysis.
• Provide technical support for DDR power-related issues during development and integration.
• Collaborate with design, product, test, packaging and other teams to meet requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation, datasheets, power analysis reports and test plans.
