• Help clients maximize the value of their data and automate business processes
• Implement data analytics and data science solutions spanning data querying, wrangling, engineering, visualization, dashboarding, business intelligence, and predictive analytics
• Support organizational and mission goals within the Department of Homeland Security
• Design and develop data visualization and dashboard solutions using Power BI
• Lead and review data cleaning scripts using R and Python
• Maintain and enhance dashboards, analytics solutions, and reporting tools for operational and strategic decision-making
• Balance competing priorities, including quick-turn and ad hoc requests
• Focus on client services while supporting business development, internal firm initiatives, and ongoing professional development

Requirements

• Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DHS Public Trust
• Bachelors Degree
• Experience with R or Python
• Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences
• Experience working with hiring or operational data
• Strong UI/UX capabilities for dashboard development
• Familiarity with PowerApps
• Familiarity with cloud-based analytics environments such as Databricks, Palantir, AWS, Azure, or Google
• Experience performing analytics and data transformation using R and Python
• Ability to gather requirements and present to clients with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and tools for data integration
• Ability to travel up to 10%
• Ability to obtain and maintain required public trust clearance
