Job summary

Comcast Corporation is seeking a data engineering professional to contribute to data platform software on Unix, building large-scale data warehouses using Teradata and cloud technologies. You will ingest data with Informatica, develop dashboards in Tableau, and create observability dashboards and SLOs to improve reliability.

You will collaborate with teams across Service Now, Jira, and MS Teams, handling data pipelines and providing end-user support while ensuring performance on datasets

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience developing data pipeline software on Unix
• Experience developing reports using Tableau
• Experience performing data ingesting and processing with Informatica
• Experience working with large datasets (≥10 TB)
• One year developing large-scale data warehouse applications using Teradata
• Experience managing data storage and processing with Hadoop and Spark

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a team developing data platforms software on Unix, using SQL Server and Oracle databases
• Develop reports using Tableau
• Perform data ingesting and processing with Informatica
• Work with large datasets (≥10 TB)
• Develop large-scale data warehouse applications using Teradata
• Manage storage and processing with Hadoop and Spark
• Build interactive data visualizations and dashboards
• Create integrations across platforms (ServiceNow, Jira, MS Teams)
• Monitor end-user support and measure troubleshooting effectiveness
• Establish observability through metrics, traces, and logs
