Job summary

Comcast Corporation is seeking a Data Engineer to join a team responsible for data engineering in an AWS cloud environment, leveraging S3, RDS, Lambda, and other services. You will implement SQL CRUD, perform complex queries, and work with ETL using Python, PySpark, and Spark.

You will collaborate in a DevOps environment, manage data platforms with Terraform, and support production systems with a focus on data quality and performance metrics. Remote work eligible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of data engineering in AWS cloud environment (S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager).
• Experience with SQL CRUD, joins, aggregations, window functions, and DDL/DML/DCL/DQL/TCL.

Responsibilities

• Perform data engineering in an AWS cloud environment using S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager.
• Develop and consume APIs, perform ETL with PySpark/Spark in a DevOps setup.
• Provide production support, monitor data quality, and ensure SLAs are met.
