Job summary

Everforth ECS seeks a Junior Data Engineering Intern to join our Fairfax, VA office for Summer 2027. You will build and maintain data pipelines for GEOINT datasets and participate in end-to-end data engineering workflows within production-grade environments.

You will work alongside senior engineers, receive mentorship, and contribute to DoW Artificial Intelligence initiatives using real datasets and enterprise tools to drive impactful analytics and insights.

Qualifications

• US citizen required.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Management, or related field.
• Experience with Python and SQL.
• Experience transforming and manipulating data sets.

Everforth ECS is seeking a Junior Data Engineering Intern to work in our Fairfax, VA office for the summer of 2027.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to move beyond the classroom and gain firsthand experience with production-grade workflows and real-world datasets. You will work alongside senior engineers and scientists to acquire hands‑on experience in data infrastructure and engineering practices in support of a DoW Artificial Intelligence initiative. Job Description:

ECS seeks an individual who is passionate about data, eager to learn, and excited to develop foundational skills in data engineering while contributing to meaningful projects. In this position, you will develop and maintain data pipelines and perform data analysis on GEOINT datasets, gaining experience with end‑to‑end data engineering processes.
