Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, data science, or similar technical capacity.
• Comfortable writing and troubleshooting code in Python and SQL.
• Experience with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or other cloud-based environments.
• Familiarity with building and supporting data pipelines and ETL workflows.
• Interest in data science and machine learning with willingness to continue learning.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the design, development, and testing of software applications.
• Resolves day-to-day incidents to ensure service integrity.
• Consumes, transforms and updates data between systems using integration software.
• Consults with business partners to create documentation for program definitions, requirements, and end-user specifications.
• Writes, translates, and codes software scripts and applications according to specifications.
• Designs, runs, and monitors performance tests to improve software and provide timely data to users.
• Prepares and writes reports for management on assignment status.
• Trains end users to operate new or modified programs.
• Researches emerging development tools and standards to support projects.
• Collaborates with external vendors to implement software products efficiently.
• Keeps abreast of new technologies to support ETL development and reporting.
