Job summary

Legis1, a congressional intelligence platform, seeks a Junior Data Analyst to join the Data team. You will ensure data integrity and use SQL and AI-assisted tools to generate insightful reports for product, data, sales, and marketing. A strong political data background is essential.

Please bring hands-on experience with political data and a genuine passion for how Congress works. This role emphasizes accuracy, initiative, and clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of U.S. legislative process and how Congress operates.
• Experience with political data via coursework, internships, campaigns, or prior work.
• Interest in political data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Collect, maintain, and monitor Legis1 data for accuracy and completeness.
• Use SQL and AI tools to query databases and generate stakeholder reports.
• Research new data sources and understand the legislative/political subject matter.
• Build data ingestion pipelines and scrapers.
• Oversee day-to-day data quality on Legis1.
• Identify and resolve data quality bugs.
• Translate data findings into actionable insights across teams.
