Job summary

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Junior Data Analyst for a prominent client. This 100% onsite role is based in Wilmington, NC (28405) with standard hours 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday.

You will build and maintain internal data tools, clean and organize data, support dashboards and reporting workflows, and assist with AI-enabled initiatives. Ideal candidates have a technical degree and are early in their data analytics careers, with exposure to Python, SQL, or Power BI.

Qualifications

• B.S. in a technical discipline preferred.
• Recent graduate or early-career professional in data analytics or related fields.
• Experience with datasets, dashboards, BI/reporting tools.

Responsibilities

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Junior Data Analyst for a prominent client of ours. This isa Onsite Role in Wilmington, NC 28405. Details for the position are as follows:

100% onsite in Wilmington, NC. 8am - 5pm, M-F

Local candidates only

Pay Rate - $30 - 34/hr on W2

Duration: Initial 6 months, with possibility to extend.

Summary

This contract role supports a technical organization with digital tools, data quality, reporting, process improvement, and the practical use of artificial intelligence. You will help build and maintain internal tools, clean and organize data, support dashboards and reporting workflows, and improve how technical projects are structured and managed — freeing project teams to focus on strategic technical work. This is a technical role focused on building and maintaining technical tools and data structures based on established specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Ideal Background

• B.S. in a Technical Discipline preferred (Engineering, IS, CS, Data Analytics, etc.)
• Excellent role for a recent graduate or early-career professional in data analytics, information systems, industrial/systems engineering, operations research, computer science, or business analytics.
• Comfort working with datasets, dashboards, BI/reporting tools, and structured workflows.
• Interest in applying AI to business or technical workflows; exposure to Python, SQL, or Power BI is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to maintain accurate data over time.
