Job summary

Pinnacle Home Care is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join our Florida team. You will write SQL, use Python to automate reporting, and build dashboards with Power BI to support clinical and operational decisions.

The role involves data validation, data reconciliation, and collaboration with senior analysts to understand analytics needs. A healthcare context and opportunity for growth are highlighted.

Qualifications

  • Strong SQL skills with joins, aggregations, filtering, and data transformation.
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation.
  • Experience with BI tools (Power BI or Tableau) and Excel.
  • Understanding of relational databases and basic data modeling concepts.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and data pipelines is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.

Pinnacle Home Care, Florida’s largest independent Medicare-certified home health provider, has been delivering high-quality, patient-centered care for over two decades, and we’re looking for a Junior Data Analyst to join our award-winning team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Write SQL queries to extract, combine, and analyze data from multiple systems.
  • Use Python to automate reporting, data validation, file processing, and repetitive tasks.
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI and other reporting tools.
  • Assist with analyzing operational, clinical, and financial data.
  • Support recurring reporting and ad hoc data requests.
  • Clean, validate, and reconcile data to ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Work with data from SQL databases, Snowflake, Excel, CSV, JSON, and APIs.
  • Help investigate discrepancies between reports and source systems.
  • Support development of automated data pipelines and reporting processes.
  • Work with senior analysts and business leaders to understand reporting and analytics needs.
  • Document queries, reports, and automated processes.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify manual processes through data and automation.
Qualifications
  • 1–3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, reporting, or a related field.
  • Strong foundational SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, filtering, and data transformation.
  • Working knowledge of Python for data analysis or automation.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or a comparable BI tool.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Understanding of relational databases and basic data modeling concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to organize work, troubleshoot issues, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Experience with Snowflake or another cloud data platform preferred.
  • Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, or automated data processes preferred.
  • Familiarity with Git or source-control tools preferred.
  • Healthcare or home health experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure preferred.
  • Exposure to healthcare operational, clinical, or financial data preferred.
