Job summary

AGE Solutions is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer Junior - Continuous Monitoring to support a DoD cyber risk management program. You will monitor security controls using Qmulos, Splunk, ACAS, Axonius, and other tools, develop ConMon strategy, and maintain RMF packages.

This role requires a DoD Secret clearance with eligibility for Top Secret, a HYBRID onsite schedule four days per week near Alexandria, VA / Fort Meade, MD / Chambersburg, PA, and a minimum of three years in cybersecurity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT-related field or equivalent experience.
• Three (3) years of cybersecurity or network security experience.
• Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
• DoD 8570 IA Technical (IAT) Level II certification.
• Willing to work HYBRID onsite schedule of 4 days/week near Alexandria, VA / Fort Meade, MD / Chambersburg, PA.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Qmulos, Splunk, ACAS, Axonius, CheckMark, BURP, and HBSS to assess, validate, and monitor security controls.
• Develop and maintain the ConMon Strategy to support the A&A mission.
• Create and update the ConMon SOP detailing oversight and monitoring requirements for IT systems.
• Conduct continuous security control assessments for all ISs under the organization’s purview.
• Perform automated and manual monitoring, generating weekly security control status reports.
• Ensure ConMon-related controls are properly implemented in RMF packages within eMASS.
• Conduct ongoing assessments in compliance with industry auditor standards.
• Report system risk status using the DISA-approved reporting tool.
• Maintain the ConMon Dashboard tracking compliance and related metrics.
• Track automated and manual security controls and overdue assessments.
• Coordinate with system administrators to resolve credentialing and data issues.
• Provide real-time IS security status metrics based on ConMon Strategy.
