Job summary

CACI is seeking a Junior Cyber Security Engineer in Colorado Springs to support DoD RMF and NIST-based security controls. You will assist in creating cyber artifacts, coordinating IA patching, and ensuring compliance across SCN systems.

The role involves risk assessment, collaboration with program offices, and participation in security reviews and meetings. Prior DoD experience and a clearance are preferred.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in relevant field and 3 years of related experience.
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
• SCN and/or DoD experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and maintenance of cybersecurity artifacts for SCN mission systems.
• Assist in implementation of Anti-virus/Malware identification process for checking in/out of SCN equipment from/to SCN sites.
• Coordinate with SWMA IA patching team and the program office IA architecture team on an IA/Cybersecurity Roadmap to identify non-compliant IA controls and propose corrective actions.
• Support cybersecurity controls verification assessments IAW DoDI 8510.01 and DoDI 8500.01 annually.
• Attend Cyber Technical Interchange Meetings to obtain Cyber buy-off before proceeding.
• Participate in review and implementation of policies related to information security, privacy and incident response.
• Monitor information systems for security-related events; assist in audits and incident response.
