Job summary

Abbott in Irving, TX seeks a Jr. Customs and Trade Compliance Analyst to provide technical and analytical support for compliance with U.S. customs regulations. The role covers import and export activities, ensuring adherence to 19 CFR, 15 CFR, FDA, USDA, and related requirements.

You will work with cross-functional teams to review records, perform classifications, and implement corrective actions under supervision. The base pay range is listed and reflects market rates for the location.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in export/import compliance including CBP, EAR, USMCA.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work across teams and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Corporate and Divisional Policies.
• Applies working knowledge of import/export regulations to support business needs.
• Assist site/division Customs and Trade Compliance personnel in HTSUS/ECCN classifications and related issues.
• Conduct effective transactional review/audit of all import/export records.
• Consolidate and analyze import/export data to identify risks or savings opportunities.
• Prepare reports and make recommendations to management.
• Provide analytical support for related customs requests and disclosures.
• Ensure proper classification, valuation, and origin for imported/exported goods.
