Job summary

TAD PGS is seeking a junior Design Engineer in Orlando, FL to learn to design cables, harnesses, and circuit card assemblies. This onsite, 6-month temp-to-hire role requires CREO experience and a willingness to expand into electro-mechanical design.

Candidate must be a US citizen and able to obtain/maintain a security clearance. Schedule is 1st shift, 4/10 hours. Pay is $53.65 hourly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 2 years CREO experience.
• 2 years in mechanical or electrical design.
• Willing to learn design of cables and circuit cards.

Responsibilities

• Design major components or major portions of a system or prototype.
• Develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations.
• Create layouts, sketches, and notes for design proposals.
• Consider manufacturability, materials, interchangeability, and cost factors.
• Coordinate with other groups affected by design development.
• Create layouts of assemblies and parts and check for clarity and accuracy.
• Identify design issues and propose revisions to engineers.
