Job summary

TAD PGS is seeking a junior Design Engineer in Orlando, FL to learn to design cables, harnesses, and circuit card assemblies. This onsite, 6-month temp-to-hire role requires CREO experience and a willingness to expand into electro-mechanical design.

Candidate must be a US citizen and able to obtain/maintain a security clearance. Schedule is 1st shift, 4/10 hours. Pay is $53.65 hourly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 2 years CREO experience.
• 2 years in mechanical or electrical design.
• Willing to learn design of cables and circuit cards.

Responsibilities

• Design major components or major portions of a system or prototype.
• Develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations.
• Create layouts, sketches, and notes for design proposals.
• Consider manufacturability, materials, interchangeability, and cost factors.
• Coordinate with other groups affected by design development.
• Create layouts of assemblies and parts and check for clarity and accuracy.
• Identify design issues and propose revisions to engineers.

This role is being listed as a 6-month, Temp to Hire opportunity!

Client is seeking Jr Design Engineers with at least 2 years of Creo experience. Must be willing to learn to how to design Cables (Harnesses) and Circuit Cards!

Design Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Orlando, FL 32819 surrounding area.

US Citizenship is required.

Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.

Schedule: 4/10 hour shifts - 1st shift

Pay: $53.65 Hourly

Onsite Role

Seekingjunior levelmechanical design engineersthat arewilling to learn how to design cables and circuit card assemblies (CCAs) and become electro-mechanical engineers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Designsmajor components,or major portions of a functional system,ortechnically advanced prototype, promotional or specific products.
• Developorimproveproducts andfacilitatemanufacturing operations.
• Develops basic data and makes preliminary layouts, sketches, and notes necessary to present a design proposal.
• Investigatespertinent design factors such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials and equipment, interchangeability, replaceability, strength-to-weight efficiency,andcontractual specification requirements and cost.
• Coordinates with other organizations affected by design development.
• Makes layouts of assemblies and details parts of devices, mechanisms, structures, and products.
• Checks completed layouts and drawings for clarity, completeness, conformity to standards, procedures, specifications, andaccuracy ofcalculations and dimensioning.Identifies design errors, omissions, and other deficiencies, and recommends revisions and/or improvements in design layout to responsible engineers or designers.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Candidate must have 2 years' experience with CREO.
• Candidate must have 2 years' experience in mechanical or electrical design.
• Must be willing to learnhow to design cablesand circuitcards.
