Job summary

PM2CM, Inc. is hiring junior cost engineers to support electrical infrastructure projects for a major Southern California utility. The role is hybrid, with four days remote and one day in Pomona client offices weekly.

You will assist in budgets, cost tracking and forecasting while collaborating with project teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate has 1+ years of experience and strong Excel skills; a 4-year college degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• This position requires strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, INDEX, MATCH, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, SUBTOTAL, IF, OFFSET, Pivot Tables & charts).
• Prior work in Cost Controls, Budgeting and Cost Forecasting is a plus but not mandatory.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing project budgets and tracking actual costs.
• Forecast project costs for a portfolio of projects.
• Interface with Project Manager, Engineering, Procurement and Construction Manager.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders and work as a team player.
