Job summary

Perini Management Services, Inc. in Framingham, MA is seeking a Junior Cost Engineer (Construction) to join our on-site team. The role focuses on cost accounting, budget maintenance, and timely invoicing across domestic and overseas operations.

You will assist with WIP revenue recognition, set up new jobs and budgets, and support internal audits. Strong communication and Excel/Word skills are essential. This is an onsite, full-time opportunity in Framingham.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree (or in progress) in a related field.
• Construction accounting experience preferred but not required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform cost accounting on domestic and overseas operations including budgets and monthly projections.
• Process reimbursements, vendor and subcontractor pay requests, and monthly billing.
• Assist with monthly WIP revenue recognition and ad hoc reporting for Operations.
• Set up new jobs, cost codes, and budgets and perform reporting as needed.
• Maintain and reconcile petty cash and other accounts as required.
• Resolve discrepancies by interfacing with departments, project controllers, and vendors; assist audits.
