Job summary

Spice World, LLC in Orlando, FL is seeking a Junior Cost Accountant to help ensure accurate product costing, inventory valuation, and financial reporting. You will work with Operations, Supply Chain, Production and Finance.

The role focuses on maintaining standard costs for raw materials and finished goods, supporting month-end close, cost reviews, and budgeting activities. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in accounting/finance and 1–3 years of cost accounting experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance; CPA or MBA preferred.
• 1–3 years of accounting experience; cost accounting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP and strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close activities and reporting.
• Maintain and analyze standard costs for raw materials and finished goods.
• Support cost reviews and updates to standard costs.
• Collaborate with plant operations to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports for leadership.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and operating plans.
• Ensure confidentiality and safeguard financial data.
