Job summary

Preferred background includes public accounting and Big Four experience, with CPA, NetSuite, Power BI, and SQL skills to support scalable financial systems and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• CPA designation required or pursued.
• 4-7 years of accounting experience with public accounting background.
• Experience with GAAP and financial reporting, month-end close.
• Big Four experience preferred; external audits experience.
• Experience with NetSuite, Power BI, and SQL is a plus.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to transition into a future finance leadership track. The role will focus on ownership of the monthly close process, financial reporting, internal controls, and supporting a growing accounting organization. The ideal candidate comes from a public accounting background and is looking for a long-term path toward Controller-level responsibilities.

Responsibilities- Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.- Prepare and review financial statements and reconciliations.- Support technical accounting and GAAP compliance.- Assist with internal controls, audits, and process improvements.- Partner with leadership on financial reporting and operational initiatives.- Support development of accounting systems and scalable processes.

CompensationThe annual salary for this role will be between $110,000 - $140,000 while in the junior role, and will increase once promoted to Controller.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• CPA
• 4-7 years of accounting experience.
• Public accounting audit experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and monthly close processes.
• Big Four accounting experience.
• Senior Associate or recently promoted Audit Manager background.
• NetSuite experience.
• Experience supporting external audits.-Construction-in-progress or fixed asset accounting experience.
• Telecommunications, infrastructure, utilities, or capital-intensive industry experience.
• Power BI, SQL, or automation experience.
